Washing your extensions is vital. This gentle cleansing not only revitalizes the hair, adding shine and bounce to restore its natural texture, but also ensures flawless hair before installation. Keep the plastic security band around the bundle during this process to prevent tangling.
Rinse the hair with warm water. Allow it to air dry. Once dry, run your fingers through the hair or use a wide comb. It should be free of tangles and shedding. After drying, use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to ensure it’s free of tangles and shedding.
For the desired style, heat style a few strands of hair.
Perform a bleach test on a few strands before coloring the entire product.

Raw hair maintenance is essential (before and after installation).
Shampoo should only be used if excessive product buildup weighs down the hair. Regular shampooing can dry out the hair, so use sulfate-free shampoo and follow with a moisture conditioner.
Proper care is crucial. Insufficient washing can lead to dryness and tangling. Accumulated leave-in products cause hair to weigh down and may severely tangle or mat. Conditioner washing 1-2 times per week (or 2-3 for more active lifestyles) is recommended, using Moisture Rich Conditioners.
Pre-Installation Washing Steps:
Mix sulfate-free conditioner in lukewarm water, soak hair for 15 mins.
Wash hair gently, moving downward.
Use wide-tooth comb or detangling brush.
Rinse with cool water to seal cuticles.
Air dry the hair.
Proceed with installation (Refer to Shedding Prevention Before Installing).
Preventing Shedding on Your Extensions:
Initial brushing and Washing may have minimal loose hairs due to wefting.
Shedding reduces after several washes.
Expect minimal daily shedding with regular haircare.
RAW hair improves over time, needing care.
Extensions have minimal shedding by default.
Avoid excessive chemical processing, harsh brushing, and constant wear for reduced shedding.
